I protested the RNC in New York in 04 and I KNOW this isn’t an accurate picture of what happens.

This article fails to include the fact that the police have tear-gassed protesters, unprovoked and without formal warning.

Here’s some footage from a protest last night.  Try to reconcile the tone of the article with this video.
